Overlooking the large Sillon beach, Les Charmettes naturally offers a wide range of beach and sea-related activities.
The Saint-Malo sailing school awaits you on the beach, with a wide range of activities on offer. This is your chance to try your hand at sand yachting once the sea has receded and given way to wide stretches of sand. Hoist the sail and let the speed exhilarate you!<\/p>

Another activity directly linked to the sea is the thermal baths. The Grand H\u00f4tel des Thermes is within easy reach and only a few minutes' walk from our sumptuous villas. A private mansion built in 1725 for a privateer under Louis XV, the Demeure de Corsaire is now open to visitors. You can discover its history, take part in educational workshops and visit the premises, which include cellars below sea level. Discover how life in the bay revolves around the English Channel, fishing and oyster farming. The marine train, which is nothing more than a covered tractor, takes you to the traditional fisheries of the Bay of Mont-Saint-Michel in Cherrueix. This \"little train\" gives you the chance to find out more about the fishing industry, and in particular the job of mussel farmer.<\/p>
