The beach house serves as a kitchen, and you can now treat your taste buds or quench your thirst on the terrace with your feet in the sand,
or inside the bistro restaurant with magical views of the horizon and the ocean.

Fabrice, the new director of the premises, knows how to create a relaxed atmosphere that makes his guests feel at home. He blends styles just as well in his dishes as he does in the house’s interior decoration – which is no surprise, as for several years he ran a place that was highly regarded in musical circles. Suffice to say that after searching around for several years, he came across Les Charmettes, which he has made into a sharing space, selling objects made by local artists, hosting live concerts in the early evening, offering wines by small producers and gourmet breads… In short, this is good spot in St Malo to admire the sunset and the impressive tides over a drink or a meal.
It offers a relaxed atmosphere that is open to everyone all day long, for homemade bread, Brittany-style mussels, dish of the day, or a seafood platter (booking required) over a glass of wine, champagne or a cocktail. Not to mention the famous café gourmand: coffee served with the Bouvier macaroons that everyone loves at Les Charmettes!
The blackboard menu blends local and foreign flavours in simple dishes, such as chicken yakitori, rougaille, and king prawn flambé with local spices.
